Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Trigger 6, uninstall any previous external-GPU driver, reboot, then run the manufacturer driver as administrator with antivirus temporarily disabled. Reconnect only when setup prompts.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a certified Thunderbolt/USB-C cable, connect to a Thunderbolt-capable port, confirm the enclosure’s power adapter is connected, and check Device Manager for unknown devices. Enable Thunderbolt support in BIOS if needed.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

If the internal GPU and Trigger 6 drivers clash, use DDU in Safe Mode to remove old graphics drivers, then install the Trigger 6 package matching your Windows build. Stop Windows Update from replacing it until the first reboot finishes.
