Name: Trident Video Accelerator CyberBlade i1 AGP 6.1019.94 Driver
Author: Trident

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

The 6.1019.94 package is legacy. Extract it, then update the display adapter via Device Manager → Update Driver → Browse → “Have Disk” and point to the CyberBlade i1 INF. Run setup as administrator; on newer Windows, use compatibility mode or temporarily disable driver signature enforcement.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for an unknown VGA/display device. Reseat the AGP card, confirm AGP is enabled in BIOS, set a valid AGP aperture, and disable onboard video if it conflicts. The driver will not install if the adapter is not enumerated.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Trident or generic display driver first, reboot, then install 6.1019.94. Prevent Windows Update from replacing it with a generic VGA driver, which can break AGP acceleration and resolution settings.
