Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Travelscan Pro 600, run the driver installer as administrator, and reconnect only when prompted. Close scanner/TWAIN apps and temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks the installer.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use the supplied USB cable directly into a rear USB port, not a hub. Check Device Manager under Imaging devices; if absent, try another port/cable and confirm the scanner is powered on and not in sleep mode.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Travelscan or TWAIN/WIA drivers and scanner utilities, reboot, then install the current package. In scanning apps, select the Travelscan Pro 600 TWAIN/WIA source rather than a generic WIA driver.
