Question 1

Installer fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Run the TRENDnet setup utility as Administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and use Windows compatibility mode if the package is older. Reboot before reinstalling, and remove any partially installed print-server utility first.

Question 2

TEW-P1PG not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the print server is powered, connected to the same network/subnet, and the printer is attached to its parallel port. Use TRENDnet’s admin utility or ping its IP; assign a static IP if discovery is unreliable, and allow the utility through Windows Firewall.

Question 3

Driver/utility version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Delete old TRENDnet print-server software and stale printer queues, restart the Print Spooler, then install the matching 32/64-bit package. Avoid mixing an older Windows driver with a newer utility.
