Name: TRENDnet TEW 703PI TEW 703PIL 150Mbps Wireless N PCI Adapter Driver
Author: TRENDnet

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run setup as Administrator and use compatibility mode for the supported Windows version; temporarily disable antivirus. If it still fails, extract the driver and update via Device Manager by pointing to the INF file.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power off, reseat the TEW-703PI/PIL in its PCI slot, and check Device Manager for an unknown network controller. Try another PCI slot and review BIOS settings for PCI/IRQ conflicts.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old TRENDnet and other Wireless N drivers, including hidden adapters, then reboot. Install the correct 32/64-bit package for your Windows version and prevent Windows Update from replacing it with a generic driver if connection drops.
