Name: TomTom GO 630 Driver
Author: TomTom

Question 1

Install fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Run the TomTom HOME installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and use Windows compatibility mode for older Windows versions if setup exits early. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

GO 630 not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try the original USB cable and a direct rear USB port, not a hub. Restart the GO 630 by holding Power until it resets, then open TomTom HOME. In Device Manager, remove any flagged TomTom USB entries and reconnect.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older TomTom HOME and TomTom USB drivers, reboot, then install the latest version compatible with the GO 630. Avoid letting Windows Update replace the TomTom driver; if it does, roll back the driver.
