Name: Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel (USB) Driver
Author: Thrustmaster

Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the TX Racing Wheel before installing the latest Thrustmaster package, run the installer as administrator, then connect the wheel directly to a rear USB 2.0 port—not a hub—and let Windows finish detection.

Question 2

Wheel not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the power supply is connected and try another USB cable/port. In Device Manager, check for unknown USB/HID devices; if present, reinstall the Thrustmaster driver and reconnect the wheel.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate entries?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Thrustmaster software/drivers, remove stale “Thrustmaster TX” or HID game-controller entries, restart, then install the current package before reconnecting the wheel.
