Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing TeVii/DVB tuner driver in Device Manager (enable “Show hidden devices”), delete the driver software, reboot, then run the S464 installer as administrator. If Windows blocks the driver, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement.

Question 2

Device not detected / no BDA tuner?

Accepted Answer

Check the USB/PCIe connection and power, try another port/slot, then use Device Manager’s “Scan for hardware changes.” Install the TeVii S464 driver before opening TV software, and rescan tuners in your DVB-S2 application.

Question 3

Version conflicts or tuner disappears after updates?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old TeVii and other BDA/DVB tuner drivers, install the correct 32/64-bit package, and prevent Windows Update from replacing it. Check Device Manager error codes and roll back if needed.
