Question 1

Driver installation fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the TEXA driver installer as administrator and temporarily disable antivirus/SmartScreen. If setup still stops, uninstall any previous TEXA/Navigator USB driver, reboot, then reinstall the TCXB01 driver before connecting the interface.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a known-good USB cable and a direct motherboard port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for an unknown device or COM port and reinstall the driver there. Confirm vehicle ignition is on and TEXA diagnostic software is set to the correct interface.

Question 3

Version/firmware conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Match the driver and TEXA diagnostic software to the TCXB01 firmware. Remove older Navigator/TEXA drivers, install the version required by the software, then reconnect and let any firmware update finish before starting diagnostics.
