Name: Tally T9114 Driver
Author: TallyGenicom

Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Run the TallyGenicom T9114 driver installer as administrator and match the Windows architecture (32/64-bit). For older packages blocked by Windows, use Windows 7 compatibility mode or temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then reconnect the printer.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the T9114 is powered on and connected to the correct USB/parallel port; try another cable/port. Add the printer manually in Devices and Printers and select the TallyGenicom T9114 port—avoid USB-to-serial adapters unless the printer setup requires one.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing “Generic / Text Only” or older Tally driver in Print Management, reboot, then install the latest TallyGenicom package. Do not mix 32-bit and 64-bit drivers on a shared print server.
