Name: Tally T2265 Driver
Author: TallyGenicom

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Use the TallyGenicom T2265 driver package matching your Windows version and bitness. Run setup as administrator, remove old Tally/T2265 entries in Print Server Properties, restart the Print Spooler, then reinstall. Avoid the Windows generic dot-matrix driver.

Question 2

Device not detected or offline?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the T2265 is powered on and online, reseat the parallel/USB cable, and select the correct port such as LPT1 or USB001. For USB-to-parallel adapters, install the adapter driver first and test another cable/port.

Question 3

Version or driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous TallyGenicom or “Generic / Text Only” queues, clear leftover drivers, reboot, and add the T2265 as a new printer. Set it as default only after a successful test print.
