Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous TA Triumph-Adler/Kyocera printer driver, reboot, then run the DC 6240 package as administrator with USB disconnected until prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Verify the DC 6240 is on the same network/subnet or use a direct USB port—not a hub. Set the correct IP/port, and print a status page to confirm the address.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Match the driver to Windows architecture (32/64-bit) and remove stale queues in Print Management. Delete older DC 6240/universal drivers, restart the print spooler, and reinstall the current signed package.
