Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the RP3200 before running the driver installer. Run setup as administrator, select the correct 32/64-bit package, connect the printer only when prompted, then reboot.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check that the receipt printer is powered on and the USB/serial cable is secure. Try another port or cable. In Device Manager, look for an unknown device or COM/LPT port, then set the matching port in Printer Properties.

Question 3

Version conflicts or old driver persists?

Accepted Answer

Remove previous receipt-printer drivers and ports via Print Management, uninstall the old package, reboot, and install the latest RP3200 driver. Set it as default and print a test receipt.
