Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Star TVS 3200, uninstall any older Star receipt-printer driver, then run the installer as administrator. Allow the signed driver when Windows prompts, and reconnect the printer only when setup asks.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the correct USB, serial, or Ethernet interface and cable. Check Device Manager and set the Windows printer port to the matching USB/COM/IP port. Power-cycle the printer and print a self-test.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove previous Star TSP/TVS or OPOS/JavaPOS drivers before installing the current 32-bit or 64-bit package. Restart Windows after removal, and avoid mixing Windows and OPOS drivers for the same printer.
