Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Speedlink driver installer as administrator, temporarily pause antivirus, and disconnect other USB webcams. If setup still fails, uninstall any previous Snappy/Webcam driver in Device Manager, reboot, then reinstall.

Question 2

Webcam not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a direct rear USB 2.0/3.0 port instead of a hub, check Device Manager under Cameras/Imaging devices, and re-plug the cable. In Windows, enable Camera access under Settings > Privacy > Camera.

Question 3

Version conflicts or app can’t open camera?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older webcam drivers and close other camera apps. In Device Manager, right-click the webcam and choose Update driver or Roll Back Driver. Reboot before testing in the Camera app.
