Question 1

Driver install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the SNBC BTP 2002NP U installer as Administrator and disconnect other USB printers first. If an older SNBC receipt-printer driver is present, remove it in Print Management before reinstalling.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the BTP 2002NP U, use a direct USB cable to a rear port (no hub), and check Device Manager for an unknown USB device. Install the USB driver before adding the printer queue.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Delete duplicate “SNBC BTP 2002NP U” and generic USB printer entries, restart the Print Spooler service, then reinstall the correct model-specific driver. Avoid mixing generic ESC/POS drivers with the SNBC package.
