Question 1

Installer fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

The Voicecam Pro VP 005 uses an older driver package. Run the setup as administrator in Windows compatibility mode (XP/Vista/7), temporarily pause antivirus, and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a rear USB 2.0 port directly, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for “Unknown device” or imaging devices; uninstall it, unplug the camera, reboot, then reconnect and reinstall.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Sitecom software and generic USB video drivers first, reboot, then install only one VP 005 driver package. If it worked before a Windows update, use Device Manager > Roll Back Driver or reinstall the matching package.
