Rating: 4.6 (5 reviews)
Author: Seiko Instruments

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Seiko Instruments package as administrator, close printer utilities, and remove any partial SII RP D10 entry in Printers & scanners before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the RP D10 and connect directly to a USB port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for an unknown USB/serial device, then set the correct USB or COM port in printer properties.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Seiko/SII drivers, delete stale RP D10 print queues, restart Windows, and install the latest package. Do not mix vendor and generic thermal-printer drivers.
