Question 1

Install fails or stops with an error?

Accepted Answer

Run the AC595 driver installer as administrator and use the correct 32/64-bit package. Temporarily disable antivirus, then retry; if setup still fails, run it in compatibility mode for the Windows version listed by Sierra Wireless.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the AC595 in its ExpressCard/USB slot, enable the laptop’s WWAN/wireless switch, and check Device Manager for an unknown modem or “Sierra Wireless” entry. Reboot before reinstalling the driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts or Code 10/31?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older AirCard/Watcher software and any existing Sierra Wireless WWAN drivers, including hidden devices. Reboot, then install only the AC595-matched driver version to avoid generic Windows mobile-broadband driver conflicts.
