Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Stop the Print Spooler service, remove any existing Sharp MX 4141N PCL6/PS driver and stale printer port, then rerun the installer as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the MX 4141N is on the same subnet as the PC. Add it manually using a Standard TCP/IP port with the copier’s fixed IP address, and verify port 9100 is reachable.

Question 3

Version conflicts / repeated prompts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Sharp drivers for this model, clear leftover drivers from Print Management, reboot, and install only the correct PCL6 package for your Windows version.
