Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Sharp AR M236 PCL6 T1 installer as administrator, remove older Sharp printer entries first, and restart the Print Spooler service before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is powered on and connected. For USB, try another port/cable; for network, verify the correct TCP/IP port and printer IP, then add the Sharp AR M236 manually using the PCL6 driver.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Sharp AR/PCL5/universal drivers, clear stuck print jobs, reboot, and install the matching 32-bit or 64-bit T1 PCL6 package only.
