Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect USB/network cable, remove any previous Sharp AR-6020D driver from Programs and Printers, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the AR-6020D is on the same network/subnet or USB cable is connected directly. Check the printer IP, enable SNMP/port 9100 if needed, and add the printer manually using a Sharp TCP/IP port.

Question 3

Version conflicts/duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Sharp drivers and delete stale AR-6020D print queues/ports, then install the latest package matching 32/64-bit Windows. Set the new driver as default and restart Print Spooler.
