Author: Sharp

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect USB, remove partial Sharp AR 5620V entries in Printers & scanners, restart the Print Spooler service, then run the Sharp installer as administrator. For network models, confirm the correct IP/port and temporarily disable antivirus blocking during setup.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the USB cable/port or network link and power-cycle the AR 5620V. On network setups, assign a static IP and add the printer manually using the Sharp TCP/IP port. Verify the printer is on the same subnet as the PC.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Sharp or universal drivers before installing the AR 5620V package. Match 32/64-bit Windows and avoid mixing PCL/PS drivers. If printing fails after an update, roll back via Device Manager or reinstall the vendor driver.
