Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the AR 5520S, remove old Sharp printer entries in Print Management, restart the Print Spooler, then run the installer as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable; for network, confirm the AR 5520S IP address, ping it, and add a Standard TCP/IP port manually if discovery fails.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Sharp PCL/PS drivers before installing the Windows driver for the AR 5520S; avoid mixing old and new Sharp driver packages, then reboot and re-add the printer.
