Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Sharp AR 5316E T2 installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, remove any older Sharp printer entries, and restart the Print Spooler service before retrying.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is powered on and connected via the correct USB or network port. For network use, assign a fixed IP and add a TCP/IP port manually; for USB, try a direct rear-port connection and a known-good cable.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Sharp AR 5316E T2 drivers and clear pending print jobs, then install the package matching your Windows version and architecture. Avoid mixing older Sharp universal or PCL drivers with the device-specific driver.
