Name: Serioux SRXW R9V Driver
Author: Serioux

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Serioux SRXW R9V wireless USB adapter setup as administrator. If Windows blocks the unsigned WLAN driver, disable driver signature enforcement, reboot, and reinstall.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a motherboard USB 2.0 port—not a hub or front-panel port. In Device Manager, remove any unknown/USB device or warning-marked network adapter, reboot, and rescan.

Question 3

Version conflicts or dropouts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Serioux/Ralink wireless drivers and utilities, delete the old driver package, reboot, then install only the SRXW R9V package. Stop Windows Update from automatically replacing the driver.
