Name: Seagate DiscWizard Image Backup Archive Explorer Driver
Author: Seagate

Question 1

Installation fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Seagate DiscWizard/Acronis True Image components, reboot, then run the installer as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus and ensure Windows/.NET updates are installed.

Question 2

Backup archive not detected or won’t mount?

Accepted Answer

Verify the `.tib`/`.tibx` archive is supported and not encrypted without its password. Use a local NTFS path instead of network/USB storage, and free up or assign a drive letter.

Question 3

Version conflicts or Explorer won’t open?

Accepted Answer

Remove mismatched DiscWizard and Acronis virtual-disk drivers, then reinstall the same build used to create the backup. Restart the DiscWizard/Acronis service and check Device Manager for missing storage drivers.
