Name: ScanSnap S300 Driver
Author: Fujitsu

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the ScanSnap S300 driver/ScanSnap Manager installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and use the correct 32-/64-bit package for Windows. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Scanner not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the S300 directly to a powered USB port—not a hub—and confirm the scanner is powered and the cable is secure. Check Device Manager for unknown devices, then reinstall ScanSnap Manager.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any existing ScanSnap Manager and Fujitsu scanner drivers, reboot, then install only the S300-compatible package. Avoid mixing drivers from newer ScanSnap models.
