Author: Savin

Question 1

Install fails?

Accepted Answer

Use the Savin MP 301SP package for your connection type—PCL6 for printing, TWAIN/WIA for scanning. Remove old Savin/Ricoh print entries in Print Management, restart the spooler, then reinstall as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For network use, confirm the MP 301SP IP address and recreate the TCP/IP port if it changed. For USB, connect directly to a rear port and check the cable; add the printer manually via its INF if plug-and-play misses it.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Savin/Ricoh MP drivers and scanner utilities first. Avoid mixing PCL and PS drivers on the same queue; reboot after removal and install only one MP 301SP driver package.
