Name: Savin MP 2014AD Driver
Author: Savin

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Savin/Ricoh printer queues and old MP 2014AD drivers first, then run the correct 32/64-bit package as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus during setup.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable. For network, assign the MP 2014AD a static IP and add it with a TCP/IP port instead of WSD; confirm the IP responds to ping.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Do not mix Universal, PCL6, and model-specific MP 2014AD drivers. Uninstall the old printer and scanner drivers, reboot, then install one matching package and set it as default.
