Author: Savin

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Savin 4035e/4135eG print queue, restart the Print Spooler service, then run the PCL installer as administrator. For network setups, use a Standard TCP/IP port instead of WSD.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the Savin 4035e/4135eG has a valid IP on the same subnet, ping it, and create the port manually with the correct IP. For USB, connect directly to the PC and try a known-good cable/port.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

In Print Management > Drivers, uninstall old Savin, PCL5/PCL6, or universal driver entries, reboot, and install only the matching PCL package for your Windows architecture.
