Close apps using the camera, run the Sandberg installer as administrator, temporarily pause antivirus, uninstall older Sandberg webcam software/driver, reboot, then reinstall.

Webcam not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect it directly to another USB port (avoid hubs), check Device Manager under Cameras/Imaging devices for warnings, uninstall the unknown/disabled device and rescan. Confirm any privacy shutter is open.

Version conflicts or app can't find camera?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, remove duplicate/old webcam entries and uninstall the current driver with “Delete driver software,” reboot, then install the Sandberg package for your Windows version. In Windows camera privacy settings, allow desktop apps access.
