Name: Saitek Eclipse Multimedia Keyboard (USB) Driver
Author: Saitek

Question 1

Installer fails on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The legacy Saitek package may be unsigned or incompatible with Windows 10/11. Run it as administrator in compatibility mode, or skip it and let Windows use the built-in USB HID keyboard driver. Only install the Saitek package if multimedia keys are missing.

Question 2

Keyboard not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port directly on the PC, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for unknown USB/HID devices, uninstall any error entries, then scan for hardware changes and reconnect the keyboard.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts or media keys not working?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Saitek and duplicate HID keyboard entries in Device Manager, reboot, then reinstall the correct package. Confirm the Human Interface Device service is running and the keyboard layout is set correctly.
