Name: Saitek Cyborg Evo Force (USB) Driver
Author: Saitek

Question 1

Installer fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Run the Saitek/Mad Catz setup as Administrator and in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP SP3 or Windows 7. Disconnect the Cyborg Evo Force during installation, reboot when prompted, then plug it in. Temporarily disable antivirus if the installer stalls.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a rear USB 2.0 port directly on the PC, not a hub or USB 3.0 port. In Device Manager, remove any unknown/HID entry, unplug the stick, rescan, and reconnect. Verify it appears under “Set up USB game controllers.”

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Saitek, Mad Catz, or generic HID joystick drivers/software, remove hidden devices, reboot, then install one driver matching your Windows version and bitness. Do not mix old Saitek software with newer Mad Catz packages.
