Name: Saitek Cyborg 3D Stick USB Driver
Author: Saitek

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Old Saitek installers often fail on Windows 10/11 due to compatibility or unsigned-driver issues. Run the setup as administrator in Windows compatibility mode, then reboot. If it still fails, use Windows’ built-in USB HID/game-controller driver instead.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a rear USB 2.0 port directly, not a hub. In Device Manager, remove any unknown USB/HID entries, unplug the Cyborg 3D Stick, reboot, and reconnect. Check `joy.cpl` to confirm Windows sees it.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Previous Saitek/SmartTechnology drivers can conflict with Windows HID. Uninstall old Saitek software, remove the device and hidden HID entries in Device Manager, reboot, and let Windows reinstall the generic driver before recalibrating in `joy.cpl`.
