Question 1

Install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the SafeNet USB Key driver installer as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus/security software, remove any older SafeNet/Sentinel driver packages, then reboot and reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the key directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for unknown devices or USB token errors; reinstall the driver and test on another PC to isolate hardware issues.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous SafeNet/Sentinel runtime and conflicting token middleware, reboot, and install only the latest manufacturer-supplied driver package. Avoid mixing generic USB drivers with vendor software.
