Name: rtf64x64.inf Driver
Author: Asrock

Question 1

Install fails or INF is rejected?

Accepted Answer

Don’t right-click `rtf64x64.inf` and expect a full install. Run ASRock’s setup package as administrator, or use Device Manager → Update driver → Browse → select the extracted driver folder. If Windows blocks the driver, confirm it matches your Windows version and Ethernet controller.

Question 2

Ethernet adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Enable the onboard LAN/Ethernet controller in BIOS/UEFI, check the card is seated and link LEDs are active, then use Device Manager → Scan for hardware changes. If it appears with a warning, uninstall the device and reboot.

Question 3

Old Realtek driver or version conflict?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the existing Realtek Ethernet driver in Apps & Features and Device Manager (select “Delete driver software”), reboot, then install the ASRock package. Prevent Windows Update from immediately replacing it until the connection is confirmed.
