Name: Roxio Video Capture USB Driver
Author: Roxio

Question 1

Installer fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Run the Roxio setup as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and confirm the package matches your Windows version. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the Roxio Video Capture USB directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for “Unknown device”; if present, uninstall it and rescan for hardware.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any older Roxio capture driver in Device Manager and uninstall previous Roxio software in Programs and Features. Reboot, then install only the latest package to avoid overlapping drivers.
