Name: Roland CAMM 1 PNC 1860 Driver
Author: Roland

Question 1

Driver install fails on 64-bit Windows?

Accepted Answer

The PNC-1860 uses a legacy Roland driver. Run the installer as administrator, try Windows compatibility mode, and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement if Windows blocks it. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Cutter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the PNC-1860 is powered on and online, then check the selected COM/parallel port in Device Manager. For USB-to-serial adapters, keep the same COM port and match the cutter’s RS-232 settings (baud rate, data bits, parity, flow control).

Question 3

Version conflicts with cutting software?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Roland CAMM-1 drivers and duplicate ports, reboot, then install one driver version before opening SignCut/Flexi/CorelDRAW. Set that same driver/port as the output device.
