Name: Roland CAMM 1 CX 24 Driver
Author: Roland

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the CAMM-1 CX-24 before running the Roland installer. Use the correct 32/64-bit Windows driver, run it as administrator, reboot, then connect the cutter only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the CX-24 is powered and set to the correct USB/serial interface. Connect directly to a rear USB port—not a hub—and try another cable. Check Device Manager for unknown devices and update the Roland driver there.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Roland CAMM-1/CX-24 drivers and cutting software first, remove stale USB/COM port entries, reboot, then install only the current driver. In your cutting software, select the specific CX-24 port—not a generic plotter driver.
