Author: Roland

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any old Roland BN-20 driver/print queue first, reboot, then run the downloaded installer as administrator. Connect the BN-20 by USB only when prompted; avoid USB hubs.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the BN-20 and confirm it shows ready. Use a known-good USB 2.0 cable and a direct rear-port connection. In VersaWorks, refresh or manually add the BN-20 printer.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Match the driver to your Windows version and VersaWorks release. Uninstall previous BN-20 drivers and queues before upgrading, then reboot and reinstall the latest Roland package.
