Name: Rocketfish Bluetooth Adapter Driver
Author: RocketFish

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Bluetooth drivers and hidden entries in Device Manager, disconnect the adapter, reboot, then run the Rocketfish installer as administrator. Use the package matching your Windows version and architecture.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug it directly into a rear USB 2.0 port, avoid hubs, and check Device Manager for “Unknown device” or Code 43. Reinsert the adapter, confirm any LED/pairing state, and disable built-in Bluetooth to prevent conflicts.

Question 3

Version conflicts or dropped connections?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate Rocketfish/CSR/Widcomm Bluetooth entries, install only one driver package, reboot, then unpair and re-pair devices. Avoid mixing OEM and Windows generic Bluetooth drivers.
