Name: RS NOKIA Lumia 710 (Stereo Audio) Driver
Author: Nokia

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Lumia 710, run the installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and reboot before reconnecting. If Windows rejects the package, install the Nokia/Windows Update driver matching your Windows version.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a data-capable micro-USB cable, connect directly to a USB 2.0 port, unlock the phone, and set USB mode to Media transfer/PC Suite. Remove any old “Nokia Lumia 710 Stereo Audio” entry in Device Manager, then reinstall.

Question 3

Version conflicts or no sound?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the existing Nokia audio driver and delete its driver package, reboot, then install the correct 32/64-bit version. Do not mix Windows Update and Nokia packages; use Device Manager rollback if a newer driver breaks audio.
