Author: Razer

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Quit Razer Synapse and Razer background processes, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Unplug the Imperator during install, reboot, then reconnect.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the Imperator directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for unknown USB devices; uninstall the entry, reboot, and let Windows re-detect the mouse.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Razer Synapse/driver entries first, reboot, and install only one compatible package. Don’t run legacy Imperator drivers alongside Synapse.
