Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Razer Synapse/driver entries first, reboot, then run the Abyssus installer as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus and close other Razer software during installation.

Question 2

Mouse not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port, preferably a rear direct port rather than a hub. In Device Manager, uninstall the affected HID/mouse entry, replug the Abyssus, and scan for hardware changes.

Question 3

Version conflicts or settings not saving?

Accepted Answer

Remove conflicting Razer Synapse versions and install only the version compatible with your Abyssus model. Do a clean uninstall, reboot, then reinstall and avoid running multiple Razer utilities together.
