Name: Ralink RT5592 Driver
Author: Ralink

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Use the RT5592 package matching your Windows version and architecture (x86/x64). Run the installer as administrator, close other network utilities, and check Device Manager afterward for a flagged adapter.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

The RT5592 should appear as a network controller/adapter. If missing, reseat the PCIe/mini-PCIe card, confirm it is enabled in BIOS, and scan for hardware changes in Device Manager.

Question 3

Version conflicts/code 10 or 43?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Ralink/MediaTek wireless drivers first. In Device Manager, uninstall the adapter and delete its driver software, reboot, then install the RT5592 driver. Avoid mixing vendor packages.
