Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Bravo 4100, run the Primera installer as administrator, and approve any Windows driver-security prompt. Temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks the package, then reboot before reconnecting.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a USB 2.0 port, not a hub, and use a known-good cable. Confirm the Bravo is powered on and in PC mode, then check Device Manager for unknown devices and reinstall the Primera USB driver.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Primera Bravo/PTPublisher drivers and remove duplicate printer entries in Devices and Printers. Match the 4100 driver, firmware, and PTPublisher versions, then reboot after uninstalling.
