Name: PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series Driver
Author: PowerColor

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

The HD 3600 Series is legacy hardware; current AMD Adrenalin packages do not support it. Use the last Catalyst Legacy 13.1 driver for your exact Windows version, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check that the PowerColor card is fully seated and any required auxiliary power is connected. Connect the monitor to the card, not the motherboard, set PCIe/PCI as primary display in BIOS, and look for an unknown display adapter in Device Manager.

Question 3

Version conflicts/Windows Update overwrites?

Accepted Answer

Remove old AMD/NVIDIA drivers with DDU in Safe Mode before installing. After installation, prevent Windows Update from automatically replacing the legacy driver.
