Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the P2500S photo printer, run the Polaroid driver installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Reboot before reconnecting the printer to a direct USB port.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the P2500S and use a known-good USB data cable directly to the PC—avoid hubs. Check Device Manager for “Unknown device,” then reinstall the driver and restart the Print Spooler service.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Polaroid P2500S entries and any stale print queue in Settings > Printers & scanners. Install the matching 64-bit/32-bit driver, then reboot and set the P2500S as the default photo printer.
