Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Plantronics Hub/headset software, unplug the headset, reboot, then run the installer as administrator. Reconnect the headset only after installation finishes.

Question 2

Headset not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect it directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for unknown USB/audio devices; in Sound settings, confirm the Plantronics headset is set as default playback and recording device.

Question 3

Version conflicts or audio/mic issues after update?

Accepted Answer

Remove the Plantronics Hub and driver, delete the device in Device Manager with “Delete driver software,” reboot, and reinstall the latest compatible version. Avoid keeping duplicate Plantronics audio apps installed.
